How to give Apocaps CX/CXE

Apocaps® CX and Apocaps® CXE is best absorbed on an empty stomach, between meals. To minimize rare cases of digestive upset, it should be given with a very small amount of food, preferably less than 1-2 tablespoons. Please see the product label for dosing amounts and instructions. Note: the label dose is the recommended dose. 

Tip: We like to see Apocaps® CX used at least twice a day, and the number of capsules you use with your dog is determined by how much your pup weighs.

Here is the current dosing for dogs, by weight:

5-10 pounds: 1 capsule two times daily

10.1-20 pounds: 2 capsules two times daily

20.1-40 pounds: 3 capsules in the AM and 2 capsules in the PM

40.1-60 pounds: 3 capsules two times daily

60.1 pounds and over: 3 capsules three times daily

All of the above also applies to Apocaps CXE, of course!
